The Northstar clay deposit is 1500 feet north from the famous Dragon clay mine, and in a similar geologic environment. The Northstar deposit was discovered during 2007 as a result of an active exploration program in the vicinity of the Dragon Mine. The deposit has been exposed by trenching with a bulldozer and backhoe, and has been drill tested with three rotary angle drill holes. Evaluations thus far indicate that the halloysite clay resource consists of at least 250,000 tons of open pit mine able material.
