In our mission to empower all people by enriching their spiritual, social, and family lives in God's love, Macedonia Family Resource Center has been High Point's grassroots answer to breaking barriers and creating pathways to opportunity—one family, one dream at a time. We offer comprehensive, culturally responsive programs that address the real needs of High Point families. From childhood through adulthood, we provide the resources, education, and support that transform obstacles into opportunities. Programs include a neighborhood food pantry, community garden, financial literacy classes, youth tutoring & after-school care, and youth baseball.

Two years ago I wanted to feed the youth in the community free breakfast and lunch , could not find a location anywhere my mom had a house in community that had a lot of problems like drugs gangs prostitution and any thing else you might think of. My mom gave me the ok to use the house it was in much need of repairs, but God bless us to make it operational and if it had not been for the Lord the house would not be,so I have to give credit where credit is due .The first year we had a free summer camp with forty kids and a waiting list, of kids from all over.The resource table helped so many older people with much needed things like jobs, Medicaid and medicare ,food stamps or an ear to just to listen,clothes for the youth and school supplies. What ever the need , we were the village of help

Amigos Internacional is nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Latino/Hispanics become an integral and valuable part of the community by promoting cross-cultural understanding, assisting families and individuals to meet their basic needs, empowering, advocating for and educating those most in need. Centro Latino is open to the community to give assistance through a variety of services on a walk-in basis. Our assistance is free, although we do rely on donations to maintain our services. We help people with problems derived from cultural differences. Many conflicts can be resolved through a positive establishment of communication. Some people only need basic advice. For more complicated cases, we do our best to find a solution.
