Offering education and referral services aimed at providing insight into models of substance abuse treatment based primarily on Harm-Reduction principles, evidence-based practices and medication-assisted therapies which run counter to current trends in addiction treatment. It is our belief that narrowly scoped modalities have historically left many individuals who have sought help with sub-par services and at times no access to treatment at all because of their inability to adopt rigid abstinence-based practices demanded by most providers. We use a non-judgmental approach to helping people experiencing alcohol and drug problems reduce the negative impact of substance use, abuse or dependence in their lives through education, advocacy and a collaborative referral network.
