1N3 was formed in memory of my son, Kevin Yates, after he was killed by a drunk driver on August 1, 2011. We as a family wanted to do more than just change laws pertaining to driving under the influence. We wanted to change the lives of the people that were impacted by it. We chose to spread the awareness of the effect of drugs and alcohol to people in general hoping to cause them to think before choosing that lifestyle. Second, for those that already have chosen a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol we have Addiction Recovery to instruct them how to live without addiction. And third, for those who have been impacted by drugs and or alcohol that has caused a loss in their life and are grieving we have Greif Recovery to give support through the process to find closure and healing.
