My name is Heidi Ahrens and I am a family and birth coach. Through my Becoming a Parent series of classes, workshops, and one-on-one work I have worked with mothers, fathers, families and new couples in creating a peaceful environment in their home and hearts. I have been involved in education for more than 15 years. I have taught pre-kindergarten through sixth grade in the public schools, outdoor education at the high school level, and education courses at CMC. I have a Masters of Education, an Associates in arts and communication, a B.A in outdoor and experiential education. I am currently working towards certification as a doula, in lactation consultation, and in family coaching.
