I have an active and eclectic clinical style using a variety of clinical approaches including problem focused/solution oriented counseling, reality therapy, the twelve-step/disease model of addiction, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. My approach is individualized based on the client's needs and goals. My practice is exclusively with adults of all ages. I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds. I work with clients from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds. When appropriate, I encourage clients to use therapeutic homework, behavioral practice, support groups, and community resources to enhance their progress. My practice includes, short-term, long-term and episodic counseling and therapy.
