Michigan Indian Employment & Training Services, Inc, was incorporated in 1979, in the state of Michigan. MIETS is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit and is funded by grants from the federal and state government as well as other private resources. Audits are completed annnually as is the 990 required by the IRS. Services to eligible clients are provided free of charge. Our focus is employment & training activities for the enrolled client and family stabilization activities to assist the clients unmet family needs. Once a client is enrolled into our primary service activities we seek out resources to unify and stabalize the family unit, thereby creating a more balanced approach to client & family services.
We operate one administrative office with field office locations providing services to clients.
