Still Serving Veterans (SSV) is a Huntsville, Alabama, based 501 (c)(3) Veterans' service organization that empowers Veterans, including wounded warriors, and their families to optimally transition into meaningful new careers and post-military lives. SSV has helped over 4,500 Veterans and wounded warriors, securing for them over $34.1 million in additional salaries and benefits since 2007. In 2010, SSV conducted 2,599 one-on-one counseling sessions, secured over $9.1 million for Veteran clients, and helped 71 Veterans get hired with an average annual salary of $50,214. SSV's mission is to empower Veterans through: long-term career development; job transition; coaching, guiding, & counseling; information center & referral source to existing Federal & State services; assistance with VA.

Amvets membership is open to all honorably served United States Military, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reservist personnel (includes ALL; active, reservist, retired and honorably discharged).
