Based on the belief that education is the foundation and channel for permanent change in attitudes and behaviors, the KBEP teaches participants the skills to recognize, avoid, and prevent relationship violence (bullying, cyber-bullying, and dating violence). KBEP teaches fifth through twelfth graders in classrooms across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as delivering programs to youth and young adults at correctional facilities, group homes, teen parenting groups, and to local colleges. Our programs teach life skills that help participants make healthy choices about their relationships, and avoid being either a victim or perpetrator of relationship violence.
