Ranch visits are by appointment only. We are funded by private donations. Sanctuary special needs animals include horses, steer, sheep, dogs and cats. All depend on your donations or sponsorship.. Dr. Richard Miller, DVM hosts equine dental clinics at our ranch at reduced fees to help out horses in need. These clinics are open to the public. We offer educational tours to groups for a donation. Corporations wishing find team building projects, please contact us. We need shelters and corrals built before winter and have year around improvment projects available. Together we can help animals.

Horse Boarding & Training. We are a family friendly horse boarding facility in a beautiful countryside setting. We offer a gorgeous must see western themed facility. We practice Natural horsemanship i.e. Parelli, Chris Cox. Natural horse training combines common sense psychology & communication by teaching the human how to interact with the horse. We will take a couple or a party group out in to the grass lands with the cattle and a lunch you bring, with a complimentary bottle of wine,for a relaxing 'get a way' back in the country. Or through the Vineyards with complimentary wine tastings at the cellar. We have beginner horses or ones for the experienced riders.

Rocking Horse Ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing a variety of programs to the local community. Each program is designed to use Equine-Assisted Personal Growth and Learning as an outreach to both youth and adults struggling with life's challenges. Many have experienced various forms of trauma such as physical and sexual abuse, neglect and abandonment. Working with horses on an experiential level has proven to be much more effective than conventional "office therapy" techniques. Many of our horses have been rescued as well, and each has it's own unique story that clients can relate to.
