We’ve partnered with IDEO, an award-winning human-centric design firm, to train all of our teachers on how to bring design thinking to the classroom, regardless of the subject. And together with MIT, we are the co-founding partners of the NuVu Studio program, where students receive innovation training provided by MIT scholars, based on the MIT studio model learning. The Bement School, founded in 1925 and located in historic Deerfield, MA, is a co-educational junior boarding and day school serving 245 students in grades kindergarten through grade 9. Boarding is offered for grades 3-9. Bement's rich, traditional curriculum motivates and challenges students with thematically coordinated courses, a renowned fine arts program, and a diverse athletic program. The pervasive atmosphere at Bement is that of a family, learning and living together. Bement actively seeks an academically diverse, international, and multi-cultural student body. Students and adults at Bement work together to create a climate of acceptance, kindness, stimulation, and challenge in which the academic, creative, physical, and emotional growth of each child is nurtured and realized.

The GISB is an international community of students, teachers and parents learning together to build bridges between cultures. In a bilingual environment and cross-year learner groups, GISB teachers are dedicated to creating a learning climate that empowers our students. Students ➢ 150 students enrolled from Preschool through Grade 10.
