Dentistry is a constantly changing field and practice. At the American Dental & Medical Institute, it is our goal to provide caring, qualified professionals with the tools needed to take their practice to the next level. Here is the update regarding our new Coronal Polishing license. It is very important to mention that the Dental Board of California has approved this license. "Coronal Polishing Course CP152" This two-day course consists of 4 hours didactic, 4 hours laboratory (manikins) and 4 hours clinical (Live Patients) for a total of 12 hours (2 Days). Final Practical Examination: Candidates will be required to successfully pass a written test and perform coronal polishing on three different patients (1 homework patient and 2 exam day patients). Candidates must find their own patients. The school will not provide patients. Two of the three patients will be graded for the Clinical Exam and will be provided by the student. In just 11 weeks, students can complete their training and begin working as dental assistants. Classes are evenings or Saturdays and are inexpensive with financing available.
