From creative pre-K art classes and homeschool programs to after-school enrichment, ceramics, camps, workshops, and art birthday parties, every offering is designed to spark imagination and confidence. We offer a variety of professional programming for the serious art student. Dojo Academy is for students of all skill levels seeking a rigorous daily curriculum (part-time or full-time) in representational drawing and painting. We also offer shorter-format evening and weekend classes, and workshops for artists of all skill levels looking to learn to paint or draw. Open studios are drop-in for anyone who wants to join and draw or paint from a live model for three hours.

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas (CAC), located on Laughlin Drive, has provided first-class art classes to all student levels, from teenagers to senior citizens for 50 years. Founded by Mexican American artist Octavio Medellin, the art school has deep roots in the city and looks to become one of the foremost visual arts education facilities and community arts organizations in North Texas. We have more than 40 instructors who are locally and nationally known professional artists that offer more than 500 art classes and workshops like pottery classes, jewelry making, painting, sculpting, and more to roughly 1,500 students per year.
