Acadia Trad School evolved out of a growing traditional music and dance culture that has taken root in New England. Acadia Trad School distinguishes itself from music camps in that there is a higher emphasis on learning technique and theory than is found at most camps. Classes are held at the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine, in well lit seminar rooms suited for an ideal learning experience. Housing and meals are available on campus at an extra charge. Group playing in ensemble and sessions is a key feature of our learning experience.
