Each year, Academic Year in America (AYA) brings over 1,000 foreign exchange students, ages 15 to 18, to the United States to immerse themselves in the American experience. Our students come from more than 30 counties, such as Germany, Brazil, Italy, France and South Africa, and have a multitude of diverse talents and interest. We are looking for families in the NW Ohio/SE Michigan area who have an interest in hosting one or more of our students. Through its tailored matching system, AYA will provide your family a unique opportunity to find a student who will be the perfect fit in your home. For five or ten months, host families will provide the student two meals a day, and a place to sleep and study. Host families are as varied as the students
