The founder began by mentoring at shelters and with students about to drop out of school. Many students had been abused, some left to fiend for themselves. While mentoring, it was obvious what would help them. After moving to Dallas 2008 we began mentoring with DISD several programs were added Self esteem, anger manangment, bullying,health HIV, STD's, making right decisions, education.education, datin abuse.Volunteering. After a very successful yr at Barbara Mann we did see good improvements in attitudes. Key was listening, and discussions on all topics that were surveyed by the students.
