Funding is generally provided by county waiver (CADI, MR/RC, TBI NF, TBI NB, EW), workers compensation, private pay and other insurance. Individuals receiving services by REM Hennepin, Inc may live with intellectual developmental disability (including autism spectrum disorder), brain injury, mental health issues, complex physical needs and neurological conditions. Staff are highly trained and dedicated to promoting community integration and independence.

WorkAbilities, Inc is a publicly-funded, private, not-for-profit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. WorkAbilities is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a "Day Training & Habilitation Services" provider (DT & H), and has operated under a contract with Hennepin County since 1954. WorkAbilities also provides Pre-Vocational and Structured Day services under this contract with Hennepin County.
