We are awesome. For us here at Hampshire Colonial Crafters (we also go by HCC!), it is more about what inspired the company to form than what we are about. For many, when they see a piece of furniture or décor that is old, rusted, worn, peeling and with barely any life left in it, they see it as junk. We see an opportunity to take that piece and bring it back to life, or even reimagine it as something else. For us, we just love the hunt for treasures. We are not only building furniture; we create through a number of different mediums. You will find us building with wood, painting and stains, wood burning, or working with metal and glass. In addition to that, we are always crafting décor products, making signs out of wood or vinyl, and we even take on commission and custom designed projects as well. Quite a few of our products will be consistently available in our retail store or through our website (stock or make to order); while others are simply one-time projects we’ve created from items we’ve found one the side of the road, or at the various flea markets, garage sales, yard sales, clearance sections, and thrift stores we frequent. At HCC, we truly enjoy a challenge. What we enjoy most is to take ideas from simply a conceptual drawing on paper, and turn them into something real and beautiful!
