Mechanical engineering tasks include mechanical, and electro-mechanical design and packaging in support of product design and development of Enphase Energy's micro-inverter enclosures, connectors, cables. Plastic injection molded components, die casting and prototype and labeling support hardware for above. Tasks will include extensive CAD (Solidworks preferred), supplier evaluation and support, and possible visits, and familiarity with test, GD&T, costing and yield analysis, environmental sealing, thermal analysis, and related mechanical design and analysis issues.
