Yakes and Associates, LLC is a professional service firm which provides tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses. The owner, Mr. Yakes (Jeff) has over 15 years of tax and accounting experience covering a broad range of industries. Such industries includes, agriculture - both grain and livestock, manufacturing, retail, real estate and dining establishments. Mr. Yakes is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds a masters degree in taxation for the Capital University Law School located in Colombus, Ohio. He is also an adjunct professor teaching business/entity taxation to undergraduate students at a nearby university. Our focus is always on the need of our clients. We can provide the full spectrum of services to a business client or just on a service which ranges from providing accounting services during the year, preparing payroll and ultimately providing the tax return. Our goal is to maintain good communication throughout the engagement process. Therefore, both the firm, as well as our clients have a clear understanding of the expectations and whether or not the expectations are being met. For our individual clients, we will prepare the tax returns for all jurisdictions that the taxpayer is liable for. We will also file all returns electronically on the taxpayers behalf.
