Two brothers started this agency as Murray Brothers Insurance Agency in our hometown in 1913. In 1933, their agency was purchased by the First National Bank of DeFuniak Springs. The bank operated the insurance agency as part of the bank business until 1953, which is when the insurance operation became incorporated. However, the agency still operated inside the bank until 1983 when the bank was purchased by SunBank??? and the Insurance Agency moved to its current location. In 1984, Don and Diane Brown purchased the agency and have owned it since then. We take great care to serve the individual needs of our personal lines as well as commercial lines customers.
