Musso Insurance Agency, LLC. can trace its roots back to 1955 when it was Wrightsman Insurance, established by Okal Wrightsman. Over the years, the agency became affiliated with real estate; Okal and his son, Loy, headed the business. When Okal retired in 1977, Dom "Nick" Musso and Loy became partners. In 1993, Loy retired and Wrightsman-Musso, LTD. was sold to Nick. His son, Marc Musso, directed the insurance division. The agency has now come full circle with separate divisions and ownership. Nick owns the real estate business and Marc purchased the insurance division, now known as Musso Insurance Agency, in 2001. By 2006, Musso Insurance Agency expanded to Waverly, IL when purchasing Randy Mahan Insurance Agency. Later, in 2011, Steven Foster became a partner in Musso Insurance Agency bringing his five plus years of Country Financial experience. In 2015, Musso Insurance Agency acquired Smith Brown Insurance Agency which was started by Vernon Smith in the 1940’s and later continued by Robert Brown from 1979 until his passing in 2014. In 2016, Musso Insurance Agency expanded to Springfield, IL after acquiring Hannig Insurance Agency. May 2017 the 3rd generation of Musso's enters the agency. After college graduation, Taten Musso joins the agency as a licensed agent. At present time, Musso Insurance Agency continues to grow and develop while continuing to serve with the values we have upheld for so long.
