The Bishop family has a long history within the insurance business. John Bishop started his own company selling medical insurance in Pascagoula, MS back in 1970. The first sign displayed was the name of all his children. Later he moved his business to Bay St. Louis and was president of Bishop Insurance until Katrina in 2005. After Katrina, John Jr. picked up the torch and started our current P&C office in Pass Christian, Mississippi. After John’s untimely death in June of 2008, the business has been operated by his mother, Linda Bishop. All her children have there OWN agency across the Mississippi Coast and we all continue to be your local family oriented insurance agency.
