Operating in Jaffrey since it's establishment in 1863. The business was operated later by Charles L. Rich a local judge, state representative and Cashier of the Monadnock National Bank. Charles Rich died in 1938 and the insurance operation was continued under the ownership of the Bank until 1982 when it was purchased by Michael McCarthy.
