Kinder's Insurance Agency, LTD was founded by Bernard Kinder in 1978 in South Point, OH as an independently-owned agency, providing personal and commercial insurance solutions throughout the state. In 1986, he moved his agency to Ironton in order to establish the first governmental self-insurance pool for county government. Maintaining that tradition, our agency continues to offer government insurance programs, as well as other types of personal insurance, auto, home, fire, and business, and specialty coverages such as SR-22, vacant home, and collector vehicles. However, with a staff possessing over 80 years of collective experience, we are able to write nearly any type of policy from homeowners & auto insurance to commercial general liability insurance.
