Jimmy began his insurance career in 1973 with Metropolitan Life right after he graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington. In 1978 begin a full-line agency with Employers of Texas. It was here that Jimmy received comprehensive product training.
No one had to teach Jimmy about customer service, it was inbred in him. His father owned a very successful grocery store in the small town where he grew up. If a customer was unhappy it did not take long for the whole town to know. It was working there that Jimmy learned the power of word of mouth and the importance of taking care of customers.
In late 1990 Employers of Texas ceased to exist and Jimmy went to work at Prudential where he had extensive training in financial products. He was a multiple award winner there.
In 1995 Farmers Insurance offered Jimmy the opportunity to be an agency owner again. He took the offer and has worked to make it a success. His combined knowledge of personal & commercial insurance and financial services gives him the ability to inform his clients of options available so they can make an informed decision.
All employees of the Jimmy Gary Insurance Agency have their Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license. What this means to a prospective customer is that when they are ready to purchased, a policy can be issued even if Jimmy is not in the office. And what it means to current customers is that all of their requests can be handled when made.
