Small Claim Service assists businesses and individuals in filing small claim actions in California to get money that is due to them. We use our knowledge and experience to review the information provided by the client, determine the accurate legal name of the defendant, establish correct venue (jurisdiction), complete the court papers and file them with the appropriate court, serve the defendants with legal documents, and notify the court that the defendant has been served. We provide copies of all legal papers to clients, along with suggestions for a successful day in court. We are also available for guidance throughout the small claims process. In the event that the client is unable to collect the judgment, we provide collections services such as arranging for debtor examinations in court, wage garnishments, bank levies, and liens against real or personal property. We provide recommendations during the collection phase as needed.
