In 2001, Joel began his legal career working at a regional, Miami-based law firm defending some of the largest companies in the country in personal injury and breach of contract matters. Thereafter, Joel served as litigation and corporate counsel for a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) broker-dealer, where his duties included representing the corporation and its subsidiaries in securities arbitration and litigation proceedings. Joel then turned his focus to representing the interests of individuals. For the past eight years, Joel has represented many individuals, individually and collectively, in investment and consumer rights disputes. In August 2011, Joel began his eleventh year of practicing law and started Ewusiak & Roberts, a civil trial law firm.
