Alysse Giles grew up in Licking County Ohio. She graduated from Newark Catholic High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the softball team. Aly received her undergraduate education at Ohio University. While she was a Bobcat, she was the Vice President of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society, and worked at the ice arena. She graduated with degrees in English, pre-law and Political Science. After leaving Athens, Alysse travelled to Columbus to attend Capital University Law School. At CULS, she was an oralist and brief writer on the Criminal Law Moot Court team, received a CALI award for excellence, and served as an ambassador for incoming students. She graduated in 2011 and earned the designation "cum laude" for her academic excellence. Aly was admitted to practice law in Ohio after passing the July 2011 bar exam. She started as a solo practitioner, working in the areas of family law, juvenile issues, contracts, and appellate practice. From April, 2012 to 2015, Alysse L. Giles was with the White Law Office. She began as an independent contractor, then was hired as Associate and later became partner. Aly now practices as a solo practitioner primarily in the areas of criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, juvenile law, and collections. Aly is always open to learning new areas of law. ​In her spare time, Aly enjoys spending time with her husband, Morgan, pets JellyBean and Trapper, friends and family; reading; hiking; going to see live music; cooking; and photography.
