Chuck and Bill first met each other in 1982 when Chuck was a chaperone for an LCHS Band trip to Washington DC and Bill was a member of the Band. They met again in 1987 when Chuck represented then college student Bill in a fender bender car accident case! Little did either of them know that 26 years later they would become law partners by forming Doerflinger & Eledge PLLC in 2013. Bill began practicing law in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee in 2000 after practicing law in Mississippi for a year. Chuck had practiced law in Lawrenceburg for 45 years since 1974. After they had represented clients in cases both with and against each other for several years, Bill and Chuck decided to form their partnership and focus on providing quality legal services to the people of Lawrence County. Chuck has been the City Judge and City Attorney for Loretto for 40 years, and the firm has represented both the Lawrenceburg Utility System and Lawrenceburg Federal Bank for many years. Chuck has been a previous officer in the Tennessee Municipal Judge’s Conference, a Board Member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and a Member of the Tennessee Bar Foundation.
