Photograph experience began with his Dad, Robert T. taking many pictures with the First Cavalry, and at the Rock Island Arsenal in 1918, 1920 era. Tom's Oldest Brother a WW2 Marine Fighter Pilot flying Corsairs in the Pacific, (and then with Cameras in the nose), also flew a Marine Banshee Jet fighter with photo recon cameras in Korea. Brother Don in the Army Air Corp, ended WW2 as a Bombadier in a B-24 Bomber and both were a whole generation older than Tom. However, the same interests soon captured Tom as a pilot, photographer and engineer. Tom's experience was well established in the early 1950's taking pictures of the Southwest US and others. Although Tom won a local contest at 15, he was more interested in learning to fly. We will be putting together a large array of pictures including antique cars, as well as ground based photographs.
