After attending graduate school for an MFA in painting I didn't really know nor could I define a path for the future until a friend of the family intervened with an invitation to see if I might like NYC and the world of advertising. I took that opportunity and went NYC. It was an intense experience but full of culture, fun and hard work. Employed by J Walter Thompson Advertising I learned the business but decided it wasn't for me. I knew I could go to Hallmark Cards and publish in color within a year of my arrival. After leaving Hallmark Business Expressions in 2001, I came to The Printery House as Creative Director. It has been a very rewarding Experience working with freelance artists and calligraphers through out the United States and Australia.
