With a BS degree in forest science and an MS in forest ecology from the University of Montana, plus 35 years working as a research ecologist in the forests & wetlands of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, & Rocky Mountains -- I have honed an empathy for the subjects I now capture through the lens of my digital CANON SLR cameras. I have spent the last five years photo touring many areas of the western United States including the southwest states, Black Hills, Yellowstone, Tetons, and Washington plus foreign tours to British Columbia, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Galapagos Islands, Banks Island in the Arctic Ocean and Costa Rica. With these & a few older images, I now have an inventory of several thousand sellable images & am becoming recognized as an exceptional wildlife photographer.
