Deadtree Design is architectural design with a conscience. It is an outgrowth of over 30 years of design, building and research dedicated to respectfully integrating people with their surroundings. DTD specializes in Custom Home Design that is spirited, responsible and responsive to its occupants, while being faithful to the architectural language and flavor of the region. But behind the artistry is an extensive background in the nuts-and-bolts of building science, structural design, field observation, building codes and actual hands-on building experience. DTD strives to achieve the highest quality by the most economical of means. Deadtree Design operates out of offices in Haines, Alaska and Flagstaff, Arizona.
