? 2010 Humboldt Green Research Humboldt Green Research Humboldt Green Research is a non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research on the health benefits of cannabis for people. We are able to conduct this research legally because of our unique methodology. For over a decade, Californians have been legally consuming medical cannabis for a wide variety of reasons. HGR sees this as a "natural experiment" whose data has not yet been collected, analyzed and reported. Because our participants are already using cannabis on their own accord, our job as researchers is to try to limit variables and report the patient's experience as methodically as possible. This makes our research "scientific journalism", and clearly protected
