After a humble start as a home business, Lockard moved it to its current location at 1715 Hill Avenue in Spirit Lake in 1991. Over the next 16 years, a series of franchise-buy outs would result in three different company name changes. But in November of 2005, Lockard bought out the remainder of the franchise agreement and has been doing business as Creative Small Business Solutions ever since. CSBS provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll services to small business owners. Together they enjoy enthusiasm, sarcasm, spontaneity, and confidentiality. They have over 75 years combined experience, and pride themselves on getting to know their clients by name, understanding their situation, and helping them to get the maximum tax refund possible.
