Nantucket Engineering & Survey is a year round, island-based firm specializing in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Land Use Consulting. Our licensed principal, Arthur Gasbarro, has over twenty-years experience working exclusively on Nantucket Island. We are intimately familiar with local bylaws, regulations and practices. This positions us well for success before regulatory boards and commissions to balance the interests of our clients with that of Nantucket island requirements. Arthur's specialties are in septic system design and coastal stabilization. He has designed over a thousand island septic systems, both conventional and trending innovative/alternative technology. He handles everything from initial design to supervising the permitting and installation. Arthur is uniquely experienced in navigating dynamic coastal environments. He has planned, and seen through the permitting process dozens of coastal stabilization systems, that he then monitors year round. Nantucket Engineering and Survey adheres to the highest standards of practice.
