A Professional Legal Nurse Consultant (PLNC) is an individual trained in nursing who assists members of the legal community in preparing their cases. As a PLNC, I will be an essential member of your legal team, reviewing your medical legal cases, providing eduction to both you and your clients on medical procedures and terminology, evaluate the medical merit of the lawsuit, and act as an expert witness. As a part of your legal team, Schindler Legal Nurse Consulting · will review and analyze medical records, hospital policies and procedures, and other documents to help you interpret their importance to your legal case. · will prepare reports and time lines that can showcase any significant medical events, analyze and clarify what part they have in the case · will look at the standards of care for diagnosis specific to your case and how they were applied. · will do research and apply the correct medical and nursing literature authorities. · will identify and assess any factors that may have been a cause factor or may have contributed to alleged damages and/or injuries. ·will locate experts who are able to educate a jury as to the standards of care provided in a case · will screen medical cases to help you determine the merit of the lawsuit
