In 1996 Mr. Martinez founded MoneyOne Mortgage licensed in 5 States funding yearly over $70 million during the mid 2000 with 13 MoneyOne Realty franchise offices. In 1983 Mr. Martinez was appointed to the United States Senate Advisory Committee on International Trade by Senator Paula Hawkins. It was also during this time, that Frank became involved in the partnership of RyderTrade with one of America’s greatest business innovators Mr. James Ryder, founder of Ryder Trucks. Shortly after College in 1973, Frank started his own Advertising & Marketing company in Miami serving a large number of developments such as Costa Brava, Fontainebleau Park and Bonaventure who at the time was the largest developer in the state of Florida. Soon the company acquired national clients like Florida Bankshares, Royal Trust Bank, Financial Federal Savings & Loan the first and oldest in the country, and Cellular One who later sold and put AT&T in the cellular business. From 1989 through 1994 Frank was the Vice President of the original Pedro Pan Foundation along with Ramon (Mongo) Grau, and Monsignor Walsh. In 1991 with partners, Mr. Martinez organized Intercel Comunicações, the very first private Cellular telephone company in Brazil operating in the Southern state of Santa Catarina. In 1994 a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Frank by Miami/Dade County Commissioner Bruce C. Kaplan. Frank R. Martinez, Sr., is a product of the “Pedro Pan” exodus of children that came from Cuba during the early 60’s to Miami.
