State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Established in 1906, Simonsen Iron Works is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art, advanced manufacturing operation located in Spencer Iowa. Simonsen specializes in Contract Manufacturing, specifically metal based fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly of products for a variety of industries including power sports, agricultural, construction, and turf care equipment. Our modern facility is abundantly versatile, featuring a variety of machines that provide production capabilities for an array of diverse products and projects. Recent Acquisition Fosters New Opportunities We are pleased to announce that Simonsen Iron Works was recently purchased by Thurston Manufacturing Company of Thurston, Nebraska. We are excited about the new relationship bringing expanded manufacturing capacities to our current and future customers. Since 1971 Thurston Manufacturing Company has been providing high quality products to the Agricultural and Construction Industries through their BLU-JET and Circle R Side Dump product lines, as well as providing contract manufacturing services to numerous OEM customers.
