Automotive Authority was founded in early 2005 by two brothers who joined together to supply the automotive industry with their own line of custom aftermarket grilles. The brothers were a perfect complement to each other business wise in this industry. One of the brothers was an ASE certified mechanic who had a high passion for all things automotive and the other an MBA grad with a love for entrepreneurship. They realized there was a need for high quality parts at an affordable price that everyone could afford. After a few short years of growing the business they realized that they could use this same concept and apply it to other automotive related accessories and offer their customers more cost savings by becoming a one stop shop for all their needs.
