Everyone has either seen or experienced the results of cargo that was not properly secured inside a truck bed. Flapping tarps, objects flying out of truck beds, cargo that moved around inside the bed. For over 40 years I hauled construction equipment and materials in truck beds. I've used several types of cargo tie down systems and found they did not work as well as needed; required drilling holes in my truck to attach the system; and/or were too expensive. During the past 20 years while working for the construction department of movie and TV productions I learned how to work with wire cable, fittings and various rigging equipment. Out of necessity, I designed and tested several cable tie-down systems before I designed, created and tested the Loop-Cable Cargo Anchor®.
