As a British designer with her own Fair Trade company in Bangladesh (I lived there 20 yrs too) I've tons to talk about! Add to that the adventure of marrying a 'yank' and now living here in the US as a pastor's wife ... believe me there's a lot to share! Motif and the amazing women we employ however, are still my passion! Many have been abandoned, abused and left on the fringe for too many reasons. At Motif each woman is respected and rewarded well for her work. It is an amazing and humbling journey to see transformations taking place in both them and their families as livelihoods are rebuilt.
