PutATeenToWork.com Connects Employers and Teens Seeking Work Aug. 25, 2012 A Readfield, ME entrepreneur and mother of two has launched an auction website to provide freelance jobs for teens across the US. Put a Teen to Work uses online auctions to match up teens between the ages of 13 and 19 with people in their local community who need help with odd jobs like: • Yard work, • Visiting a lonely senior, • Running errands, • Walking a dog, • Filing paperwork, • Making a webpage or teaching basic Internet skills. Angela Godbout, owner and founder of Put a Teen to Work, says she created the employment service for young people because she saw how difficult the economy is making it for them to get even low paying positions.
