The Blackfeet Reservation community does have tremendous potential to improve socially and economically. It is this potential that BCDC focused on when developing its programming and services. Unlike many rural communities, this community does not have to worry about out migration of its population. The population is increasing, indicating not only a large workforce, but a large consuming force, with a need for more local services and goods.Working on establishing a financial education coalition; providing financial education counseling and training; providing business information, mentoring, counseling and training; develop a foundation on which the organization can facilitate the building of a viable self-sustaining community flowing with opportunity, growth, pride and independence.
