The licensed 40-bed community is designed and specially staffed to accommodate seniors who require daily supervision or personal assistance in a secured environment, but who do not need the complex medical attention provided by a nursing home. Family owned and operated our goal is to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our residents and to offer their loved ones peace of mind. For those with memory impairment whether early-onset or developed, residents at Countryside Village enjoy all the amenities of home in an open floor plan design and an intimate setting offering each resident a secured environment to maximize their potential in a home-like environment. The community includes the largest secured outdoor courtyard for residents with memory impairments in the area. The courtyard includes walking pathways, raised gardens, a covered porch and a beautiful fountain for relaxation. Countryside Village celebrates the spirit within each resident through personalized activities that encourage creativity and self-expression. We work with each resident individually, striving for small successes each day that help to create a sense of accomplishment. A full time Activity Director coordinates a full schedule of meaningful activities for the residents. Residents at Countryside Village receive 24-hour care services under the direction of our Healthcare Coordinator, a registered nurse. In addition each resident receives three balanced meals and snacks per day with menus designed by a registered dietician, daily housekeeping and laundry services all within a safe and secured environment. Countryside Village also offers on-site medical services through various physician groups alleviating the need to transport residents to routine doctor appointments since they can be performed in-house. These services are particularly beneficial to residents suffering from Alzheimer's and other memory impairments as it minimizes the stress on the resident and long days waiting at the doctor's office.
