Dale of Norway was established in the Dale valley outside of Bergen, Norway, in 1879, and continues to this day to design and produce beautiful knitwear and outerwear. The brand is known for its timeless beautiful designs, fun and sporty ski sweaters -- and is considered a leader in weatherproof knitwear. The company has been affiliated with ski sports since 1956, the first year it outfitted the the Norwegian ski team with sweaters, and has since been the official sweater for the Norwegian, Canadian and U.S. Ski teams.
