Personally handcrafted silk purses for special occasions. We use 100% silk, inside and out, except where noted. In addition to the standard "special occasion" purse, we have several additional lines: holiday (beautiful silk velvet in holiday colors), tartan (silk plaids, with fabric direct from Scotland), sparkly clutch (fits beautifully in your hand) and beautiful bridal purses that can easily be custom designed to match your bridal colors. Purses are unique and we never make more than 10 of the same design. Each purse is a little work of art.

About the Designer: I'm Riezl, I'm a DC area-based designer. I went to art school in 2006 and got my degree in Interior Design in 2010. I work as a Design Assistant with a residential design firm on weekdays, and as a Creative Staff with a wedding/events design company on occasional weekends. One of the things I love about interior design is textile. Because of my love for silks, satins, the Victorian era, the 20's fashion, and my passion for crafts and design, The Button Tree Co. was born.
