I’m not really in the used car business, I am an educator and I teach with real world examples. This is the reason I started R & R Auto Sales - Cars In The Cornfield. My high school auto shop was slow, there was not enough work to engage my students and the kids could not afford to fix their own vehicles – so I developed a symbiotic relationship where I bring in the right car and my students get to experience different real-world scenarios first hand under my tutelage. Our cars are mechanically inspected from the wheels up – all systems are addressed to work properly. I have been teaching auto shop for almost 20 years now, this relationship has worked better than I ever could have imagined. So many of my previous students have decided to pursue a career in the automotive repair field because of their experience in my class enhanced by R & R Auto Sales. I do not sell or try to pass on problem cars to my customers. If I do get a car that I know that will cause someone headaches I send it back to the auction. I will always be honest with you because that’s how a business should work and being in the middle of a cornfield, I need all the repeat customers I can get. I love what I do, I’m good at what I do, and making a positive difference in a young person’s life is what it’s all about for me.
