My passion for photography revolves around my love for nature, the great outdoors, sports, architecture, a little bit of everything. Whether it's lugging my camera and tripod along the banks of the Metolius, hiking along a mountain trail, or capturing the action of a bike race or basketball game, I feel my skill is in capturing the essence of whatever it is I'm shooting. Many years ago we opened a photography business in Portland Oregon called Captured Moments. We brought that photo business to Central Oregon in 1984 and operated it for 20 years. I then took a SME position (Subject Matter Expert) traveling the entire United States including Alaska and Hawaii. After six years of TSA lines, over filled aircraft and corporate survival I returned to my passion and opened ColorPhoto.Biz in 2010. While the technical side of photography has gone from film to digital the desire and quest to capture those special moments is more difficult today. Almost anyone can take great photos with their DSLR or a smart phone but if you want to take it to the next level you may need a professional. A photo session today is more about listening and meeting the customers’ expectations than all the technical jargon and Hi-Tech equipment. Morning preschool is Waldorf-based with trained and experienced teachers. Afternoon preschool options include napping, or additional instruction. Elementary school care includes "Homework Club" and lots of play. The children are provided with organic whole grain snacks.
